Restock the easter basket at the stairs. Straight run to the old scout camp and the "hidden playground". Hung around in the dried grass, hung upside down on the monkey bars, slingshot stuff. Fine, unscheduled summer afternoon.
Checked out the jump track on the way back. Someone's doing a lot of hard work. By hand.
D really wanted to get in on the action. Those jumps are BIG.
There are so many similar trails, it's easy to make a wrong turn and get thrown out into a completely unfamiliar loop. This is fun for me, but not so fun for the kids. Took a wrong turn today and heard about it. J ran ahead on the short,steep ups.
The butyl tube was not so elastic, so we'll find a replacement. But...you know.
