Bike to Work Day

Today was a scorcher. Rode the scorcher to work.
This is my bar bike superbeater. I recently got the bug to complete the Campy, so I put the 165mm cranks I had laying around on it.
That was a mistake.

165's??? you must look like Kermit the Frog on that thing.

kinda reminds me of Juan riding down the hill from my house on the Lil'Chick on our way to the Booze N' Cruise.

knees all up in the chin-al area.

hahah~

Funny you should laugh. Remember those grey painted campy cranks you had...they may have been from your uncle? Yep. I got busy with the steelwool and simichrome...

Much to my dismay. It feels like a clownbike, I barely extend my leg at all. Tiny circles, tiny circles.

I got some old Shimano 175s for you.

i'm fond of tiny circles on the road fix. judging by your headtube you've got a few inches on me but 165's are nothing to scoff at. work that spin and save the knees.

165 road fix, 170 road gears, 175 dirt fix if you're curious.

scoff! scoff! ahem...

Nope. The 165s are coming offff. I can't get on top of the gear, it just feels like I'm prancing. All I need are some elliptically laced wheels and a rainbow afro.
Especially after putting 180s on my singlespeed.
